Mission
The mission of the CSUEB Concord Campus Computer
Labs is to provide technologically advanced computing and multimedia learning
environments that facilitate the campus community's access to instructional
tools and academic resources. Utilizing well-managed resources, we deliver
appropriate, technically viable solutions by providing a customer service
oriented atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.
Lab Hours
- Mon - Thu: 10am - 10pm
- Fri: 1pm - 5pm
- Sat: 9am - 5pm
- Sun: closed
- During the Summer, we are closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- We are closed during all quarter breaks
General Information
The computer labs are located on the first
floor of Contra Costa Hall. The following labs can be reserved by faculty
for use during class time. Please fill out a Lab Reservation Form (available
at the Help Desk).
- CC165 - 27 stations - PC
- CC167 - 24 stations - PC
- CC169 - 17 stations - PC
- CC168 - formerly a lab, now a classroom
- 9 Macintosh stations
The Mac Lab has been converted to a Teacher Education Classroom
Station numbers exclude instructor station. All computers have access
to the Internet.
All stations are on a first come, first
served basis when classes are not in session. In the event of a full computer
lab, CSUEB students have priority over other students. When entering the
computer labs you will be reqired to show your new Student ID card which
has your NetID printed on it. If you do not have your new student ID card,
you can get one in the Academic Services lobby.
Printing Procedures:
Temporarily, there is free printing in
the computer lab.
Computer Lab Policies:
| Your valid student ID
must be shown upon entering the lab. |
| No drinking or eating
is allow in the lab at any time. There are tables outside the lab
where you can leave your food and drinks. |
| Downloading applications that locate and download music or MP3's (e.g. Napster, Morpheous) is prohibited. Accessing pornographic
web sites is prohibited. |
| Please keep a library
atmosphere in the lab; that means no loud talking. Cell phone usage
is prohibited in the computer labs. |
| Save your work to a disk
frequenly, and not to the hard drive, as the hard drive is cleared
off periodically. However, if you don't have a disk, it is a good
idea to save to the hard drive first temporarily, before you print. |
