- Vendors must have a valid California resale/seller's permit issued
by the Board of Equalization in order to sell goods or services. Registered
CSUEB students may also vend at discounted rates (see current Vending
Fee Schedule).
- Vendors who collect personal
information from students or other customers are responsible for safeguarding
the privacy of such information.
- Vendors must be issued an approved permit and pay the fee at the Student
Affairs office (AS 1st Floor) each day before setting up in the assigned
space. Vending hours are 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday.
- Canopies/displays must be removed at the end of each vending day.
The University or its agents are not liable for loss of or damage to
any vendor's inventory, equipment or supplies.
- Vendors may not operate outside of their assigned space. Do not set
up table or materials on lawn areas.
- Electrical power is not available at general vending spaces. If electrical
outlets are required, please see Student Affairs for more information.
- Distribution of incentive gifts/products/services by the vendor must
not be dependent upon the completion/submission of an application by
the general public.
- Vending spaces are assigned by Student Affairs on a "first-come,
first-served" basis. Spaces should be reserved at least 2 working
days in advance.
- Vending fees for non-profit organizations may be waived, unless the
Concord Campus is providing table/chair(s) set-up.
- Each vending space is approximately 8 x 10 feet. You may reserve two
adjacent spaces at a discounted rate if additional space is required.

- Vendors may unload their products/display equipment at the vending
space after obtaining the permit from Student Affairs. Vehicles are
not allowed to be parked in the vending area beyond the time necessary
for loading & unloading. Vehicles may be parked in the Student Parking
Lot. Daily parking permits are required and may bepurchased from the
dispenser in the Student Parking Lot or in the Lobby on the first floor
of the Academic Services Building.
- Vendors are requested to
notify Student Affairs in writing of any changes in address, phone numbers,
business name or representatives.

Vendors
are required to stay at your designated vending space. You may NOT
roam the campus nor may you approach or detain passersby.

The
University reserves the right to require a non-refundable deposit
from any vendor requesting a reservation for multiple spaces, multiple/sequential
days and/or University provided table/chair set-up.
